Wine, women, and tapas! That was the setting on August 28th when the NAWBO Bakersfield chapter welcomed their new leadership team.
NAWBO Bakersfield was formed in xxxx and has experienced many changes along the way, but some things remain the same and one of those things is the fortitude shown by local female leaders. Current President, Megan Rios has been a member of NAWBO since xxxx. When the local chapter considered calling it quits after struggling to survive after the pandemic, Megan's passion for what NAWBO has done for her led her to take on the challenge of rebuilding the local presence. Her passion is contagious, and she leveraged it to recruit several key women to the team to create a culture of connection, learning, and GROWTH for local women business owners. These women share Megan's vision of empowering local women business owners and this team is excited to get started.
